Photos Of San Francisco And Vineyards Last Month

Last month Gretel and I were in San Francisco for her 25th birthday and visited my good old buddy Rafa. We were there only for 4 days but we saw quite a bit.

After a 4 hour flight we celebrate in Gretel’s birthday at Robert’s and Lennart’s place. The next morning we drove to the vineyards and visited the former vineyard of Francis Ford Coppola and some other vineyards. It was very nice, but the wine wasn’t really the best. We had fun anyway :) . After our wine tour we checked out Rafa’s old University in Berkeley and for dinner we had French food at a cool place.

The third day we checked out San Francisco with bikes and crossed the Golden Gate Bridge. The weather was fabulous, no fog, so we had a great scenery on the Golden Gate Bridge. I got also sunburned again, especially my hands were pretty much well done. Later on we met Rafa and two friends in a Chinese Restaurant in Chinatown, it was great and we had a blast. After Dinner, Justin and Rafa showed San Francisco by night. Cool to know some locals, who are taking you to the best places.

On our last day we went to Alcatraz, it was pretty interesting. Before we had back to the airport we were shopping for some souvenirs. Instead of a gold rush we were in souvenir rush.

4 days were too short for San Francisco, but it was really great and we enjoyed it a lot. Especially to see my friend Rafa again. An unforgettable weekend. Thanks Rafa to show us around!
