Thanksgiving is just around the corner and that means the crazy time of Thanksgiving sale after Thursday, known as Black Friday is coming.
Every big store offers ridiculous low prizes on their doorbuster products and everybody wants them. Laptop for $299 instead $999, TV for $899 instead $2200 and much more. Unbelievable, but what’s the catch? The catch is, there are only a limit amount of the
products available. So you have to be an early bird, a really early bird!
Especially stores like Best Buy, Fry’s, CompUSA, Walmart, Circuit City, Sam’s Club, CostCo, Office Depot, Target, Kmart, Sears, Dillard’s, Macy’s, JCPenney and many more are very well known for their low prices on Black Friday.
One of the favorite is Best Buy, people are standing in line for hours and days. If you really like to get the doorbuster products, stay in line on Wednesday or even earlier. People camp outside for days, just to get the best deals. No kidding, as you can see on the photo above!
If you go late and there are at least 100 people in front of you, forget it, you won’t get any of the great deals. You can go home and sleep. If you looking for products, which are not on their doorbuster list, but still good deals, then go fast and grab your product when they open. It’s gone quickly.
Other stores might be not so crowded and it’s early enough if you there several hours before. The good thing for Walmart is, you can wait inside, so if it’s cold that night, you have it nicely warm at Walmart, instead of waiting outside in the rain or snow
On Black Friday there is everything for everyone. If you need to change your tires soon or since a while, do it now! Go to Sears and get a special on Friday. Some tires are half price off.
For TVs, PCs, Electronics you should go to Best Buy, Office Depot, Fry’s, CompUSA, Walmart, Circuit City, Officemax and Staples
If you need clothe, shoes and whatsoever, don’t wait right before Christmas, now it’s the best time, check out Dillard’s, Macy’s, JCPenney, Sears or some Outlet stores, they all have their best sale of the year.
If you need expensive appliance, tools and everything for your home, now is the right time! Home Depot, Sears, Best Buy, Fry’s, Lowe’s, Sam’s Club, CostCo, Garden Ridge, all of them are trying to give you the best deal.
If you need Toys, Computer Games or anything else for Christmas, go to Toy R Us, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Circuit City
To get a great list of Thanksgiving Specials check out www.blackfriday.info , it shows you all the specials of the big players, great website, a must for Black Friday!
But also for the lazy people, who don’t like the crowded stores, staying in line for hours. They can go online and take advantage of Cyber Monday, the online pendant of Black Friday. Many online website do have offers starting at Sunday at Midnight but most online stores already have a deal of the day and especially on Friday they try to compete with the in-store deals, like circuitcity.com, amazon.com Black Friday Sale, TigerDirect.com, newegg.com, apple.com, Buy.com and so on. Mostly at 5am or at Midnight there are some good specials available for a short period of time.
I also noticed, that most cameras, the big stores are having on sale, are available for the same price or even cheaper somewhere online like amazon.com , Abt Electronics, BuyDig.com, BH Photo Video, Abe’s of Maine, Broadway Photo and JR.com which also have some Thanksgiving specials.
Prices for external and internal hardrives are in-store far better then normal prices online on Black Friday. But without the specials, newegg.com and TigerDirect.com are always a very good decision for computer, hardware, TV and all other electronic stuff. They have great deals all year round. Fast shipping and superb service.
My best bet for Thanksgiving online on Friday are
amazon.com they have a special one-day-only holiday shopping event
newegg.com daily deal
apple.com with a special one-day-only holiday shopping event
dell.com, a one stop holiday shop
TigerDirect.com Todays Gift Deal
circuitcity.com Thanksgiving Countdown
abt.com with many Thanksgiving specials
Buy.com always good deals
overstock.com Black Friday Sale
And for cameras the online shops, which I listed above. But as for the normal stores, the same applies here for the online stores, there is always a limited amount available. Don’t be too late!
I wish everybody a Happy Thanksgiving, good luck on Black Friday, that you get your products you want and a relaxing Sunday after a crazy shopping weekend

Hey Matthew,
I had the willpower and heart to stay for 18 hours in line, fortunately we got everything, a total success. Know we just have to give it to our friends and family and grant their wishes

Wow, good resource of links to save money! Anyway, this black Friday wasn’t spent splurging. More people went shopping on this shopping holiday this year, however they didn’t spend as much as they did last year. Check out the links for more details.

Hey Douglas, good post about less spending. It’s so true, how do they expect that we spend more money when we have less. Those are people with no sense of reality who are making the big money and don’t have to buy their milk or getting gas, since they have their own staff for that.
