Christmas In Germany, Part 4: 30th Birthday Act 1 – Sweeping

It’s done, I reached a new Timezone, the big party is over and I’m 30!

I was really happy about all the friends who celebrate with me, even though they had a quite long trip from Spain, England or Holland.

I hope everybody liked the party and they had fun. If someone has more pictures, please let me know.

In Germany it’s tradition, if you turn 30 and you still not married you have to sweep the front of your house until a virgin kisses you free. Of course, your friends make a mess before you start and they play some games. First I had to sweep with a tooth brush, after each game I won a better thing to sweep the front at our house. It was really fun, I had to wear a stupid Pink Panther costume and had to play games like Pinata or sing a song. After each game I got a brush, a toilet brush and at the end a big broom. Fortunately a virgin came by and kissed me free. After that the party in the basement startet and I was already drunk, since I had to drink several shots in each game.
