And you are right, it's not a whole new concept what they use. But like I said, it is not easy to find something for a battery commercial. Because of the messaging stand point, that is going to send a bad message is a little bit too exaggerate imho. I htink you analyze this too much and put too much thought in it. What if we do it with every commercial, for example the energizer bunny: "It's a bunny, it's pink, omg, some people maybe think pink is gay -> gay is weak -> battery is weak." It's a nice, laid back, positive ad in my opinion which I think does a great job. From an ad stand point it really isn't new with blends into the other commercials, it reminds me of all the other battery commercials like the energizer bunny powering the city or powering a spaceship. I think there might have been a more creative way of showing the concept of a little bit of race/nascar experience/and spirit in every battery. Instead of the literal hit you over the head message.
